Octocaine is a local anesthetic with an excellent therapeutic index capable of ensuring rapid and effective anesthesia.

INDICATIONS:
For most surgical interventions. Adults and children.

ADVANTAGES:
Greater safety: Same results as lidocaine 1:80,000, but with lower concentration of epinephrine. Terminal sterilization. Cartridges reinforced with self-adhesive film to protect from breakage. Latex-free.

COMPOSITION:
Lidocaine hydrochloride 20 mg. Epinephrine 0.01 mg. Sodium bisulfite 0.55 mg, sodium chloride 6.0 mg, water for injections q.s.p, 1ml

DURATION:
For 1:100.000,
Pulp anesthesia: > 45 minutes. Duration in soft tissue: 180-300 minutes.
Latency time: 1-3 minutes
For 1:50.000,
Pulp anesthesia: > 60 minutes. Duration in soft tissue: 160-280 minutes.
Latency time: 1-3 minutes

MAXIMUM DOSE (1:100.000 & 1:50.000):
Healthy adult (65 kg): 8.5 cartridges of 1:100.000. Healthy children from 20 to 30kg: 1.8ml of 1:100.000
Healthy adult (65kg): 5.5 cartridges of 1:50.000. Healthy children from 20 to 30kg: 1.8ml of 1:50.000
